At Crossview Church of Christ, our vision is to be a beacon of light in our community, reflecting the love of Christ and transforming lives through the power of the Gospel. We aspire to be a thriving, multicultural congregation that embodies unity, spiritual growth, and service. By pursuing God together through Authentic Worship, Limitless Discipleship, and Endless Fellowship, we seek to create a place where everyone can encounter God's presence, experience His grace, and engage in His mission.
Our Mission
Our mission at Crossview Church of Christ is to love God and love people. We are dedicated to:
Authentic Worship: We believe that worship is a way of life, as described in Romans 12:1. Authentic worship begins with personal devotion and obedience to God in our daily lives. It encompasses our actions, attitudes, and choices, reflecting our commitment to live for Christ. As we gather for corporate worship, we bring our individual acts of worship together, creating a powerful and unified expression of praise and thanksgiving.
Limitless Discipleship: We believe that discipleship knows no bounds, as expressed in Colossians 1:29. We are committed to the spiritual growth of every member, striving with all the energy God so powerfully works in us to present everyone mature in Christ. Through Bible study, prayer, mentoring, and training, we aim to nurture mature believers who reflect the character of Christ and are equipped to disciple others.
Endless Fellowship: We are devoted to fostering a loving and inclusive community, as exemplified in Acts 2:42. We commit to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. By building genuine relationships and providing opportunities for fellowship, we create a strong, interconnected family of believers. Our fellowship extends beyond church walls, as we live out our faith together in everyday life, sharing joys, burdens, and spiritual journeys.
Serving Others: Inspired by Jesus' words in Matthew 20:28, we believe that serving others is at the heart of our mission. Just as Jesus came to serve and not be served, we are committed to serving our community and beyond. We meet physical and spiritual needs through acts of kindness, compassion, and justice. Our outreach efforts are aimed at making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us, embodying the servant leadership that Jesus modeled.
Making Disciples: Following the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20, we seek to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with all people. We are dedicated to evangelism and discipleship, helping others come to faith in Christ and grow as His followers. By equipping and empowering believers, we aim to multiply our impact and extend God's kingdom: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
